Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra 2 Leak in Full  Specs

Just ahead of Galaxy Unpacked 2026, a detailed leak has revealed the full specs and European pricing for Samsung’s next smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Between them, there’s a chip switch, a much brighter display, and a bigger battery worth knowing about before Samsung makes it official.

The Watch9 keeps its recognizable circular face but swaps Samsung’s usual Exynos chip for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite. It’s paired with a Super AMOLED display hitting up to 3,000 nits, 64GB of storage, and 2GB of RAM. Battery capacity splits by size  325mAh on the 40mm model, 435mAh on the 44mm  backed by fast wireless charging and full 5ATM/IP68 durability.

Expect the usual Samsung Health staples to return and grow: heart rate monitoring, ECG, SpO2, sleep apnea detection, an Energy Score, and Running Coach, all tied together through Galaxy AI-powered insights.

The Ultra 2 pushes further, with the same Snapdragon Wear Elite chip but a larger 1.5-inch display peaking at a blistering 5,000 nits. It’s about 12% thinner than its predecessor despite an 800mAh battery, wrapped in titanium and rated for IP68, 10ATM, and even IP69K resistance against high-pressure water.

Leaked renders point to slimmer bezels, new strap options, fresh colorways, and a refined squircle shape on the Ultra 2, alongside a software-based rotating interface carried over from earlier models.

European leaks put the Watch9 at €399 for the 40mm Bluetooth model and €429 for 44mm, with LTE adding roughly €50. The Watch Ultra 2 is expected to start at €699  about €50 more than last year’s model.

Samsung is expected to confirm everything at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8.
