Vivo has officially launched the V70 and V70 Elite in India, expanding its premium mid-range lineup with a strong focus on camera performance and battery endurance. The new V-series phones debuted on February 19, 2026, with sales beginning February 26, 2026 through Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s online store.
The standard V70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the V70 Elite steps up significantly with the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, making the Elite model the clear performance leader. Both phones ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and offer LPDDR5X RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage for smoother multitasking.
On the front, the duo features a 1.5K OLED display with a high refresh rate, paired with a large 6,500mAh battery. The Elite variant supports up to 90W fast charging, positioning it among the faster-charging devices in its segment.
Photography remains a major highlight. Both models carry ZEISS-tuned triple rear cameras led by a 50MP primary sensor, alongside a 50MP front camera aimed at selfie and portrait enthusiasts. Vivo is again leaning heavily on its imaging partnership to differentiate the V-series from rivals.
Pricing in India starts at ₹45,999 for the V70, while the V70 Elite begins at ₹51,999, going up to ₹61,999 for the top configuration. Pre-bookings opened ahead of the launch, with introductory bank offers available at retail.
