Samsung has quietly put the Galaxy A07s on sale in Jordan, launching the SM-A077F as a 4G-only budget phone priced at JOD 119, roughly $167, for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration available at launch. It comes in Black, Light Violet, and Green, and Samsung’s own Jordan product page confirms the specs and colorway lineup.

What actually separates the A07s from the regular Galaxy A07 sitting next to it is under the hood: Samsung swapped in the MediaTek Helio G99+, a 6nm chip replacing the standard A07’s Helio G99. That’s really the headline change here rather than a full redesign, most of the rest of the hardware carries over largely unchanged, at a moment when rising component costs have already pushed Samsung to raise prices across several other A-series models this year.
Camera-wise, it’s a 50MP main sensor with autofocus paired with a 2MP secondary sensor for up to 10x digital zoom, no OIS on either, plus an 8MP fixed-focus selfie camera up front. Video tops out at 1080p30, with an HD slow-motion option at 120fps. Samsung didn’t publish a confirmed fast-charging wattage for the 5,000mAh battery, so that’s one spec worth waiting on rather than guessing at.
Storage sits at 64GB out of the gate, expandable via a dedicated microSD slot up to 2TB, one that doesn’t have to share space with the second SIM, a small but genuinely useful design choice on a budget phone. Connectivity covers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, though there’s no Samsung DeX support and no stereo speakers here. Third-party listings peg the launch software as One UI running on Android 16, though Samsung’s own spec sheet stops short of naming the exact OS version.
Software longevity is where the A07s actually stands out for its price bracket: six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, with Samsung’s page listing security coverage running through August 31, 2032. Combined with an IP54 rating, that’s an unusually long commitment for a phone launching under $200.

Jordan is the only confirmed retail market so far, though Samsung’s support infrastructure has also quietly surfaced in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, a fairly strong signal that a wider rollout is being staged even if nothing’s official there yet. Similarly, there’s no confirmed Pakistan launch date at this point, so anyone waiting locally shouldn’t assume it lands alongside Jordan. The A07s slots in as a smaller step below devices like the recently leaked Galaxy A18 4G, reinforcing just how much Samsung is now leaning on chip-level tweaks to keep its entry-level lineup moving.
