Realme has officially unveiled the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+, expanding its mid-premium lineup with a strong focus on cameras, battery life, and fast charging. Both phones were announced today and sit above the standard Realme 16 models, bringing several near-flagship features to the series.
Starting with the design, the two phones share a similar look, featuring a slim profile, curved edges, and a large AMOLED display on the front. Realme has equipped both devices with a 1.5K AMOLED panel supporting a 144Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and better visuals for gaming and media consumption.

The headline feature of the series is the 200MP main camera, which Realme says uses its new LumaColor imaging system for improved detail, color accuracy, and low-light performance. While camera hardware is largely similar on both models, the Realme 16 Pro+ is positioned as the more premium option with enhanced image processing thanks to a more powerful chipset.

In terms of performance, the Realme 16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max, targeting users who want strong day-to-day performance and efficiency. The Realme 16 Pro+, on the other hand, steps up to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, offering better sustained performance, gaming stability, and camera processing.

Battery life is another major highlight. Both phones pack a 7,000mAh battery, which is among the largest in their segment. Charging speeds differ slightly, with support for fast charging up to 80W, ensuring quick top-ups despite the large battery size.
On the software side, the Realme 16 Pro series runs Realme UI based on the latest Android version, with new AI camera features, performance optimizations, and extended battery management tools.
With aggressive specs, large batteries, and high-resolution cameras, the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ are clearly aimed at users who want flagship-like features without stepping into ultra-premium pricing territory. Pricing and availability details are expected to vary by market but sales are set to begin soon.
