Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update, based on Android 17, to the Galaxy A07, one of its cheapest phones. The release was reported on October 21 for the phone’s 4G/LTE model, along with word that Samsung has ended the beta program. The update was first seen in Iran, which the report links to an early Middle East rollout, though another report says South Korea came first, so the first region isn’t settled.
| Detail | Information |
| Phone | Galaxy A07 4G/LTE |

| First seen | Iran (per one report) |

The stable build follows a short beta that was also a first for this series. Samsung opened the One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy A07 5G in India on September 22, the first time a Galaxy A0x phone had a beta program, and released a second beta on September 30. That beta update was about 549MB and fixed three problems: reboots while using Chrome, crashes in the rear camera’s portrait mode, and a CP crash affecting network reliability. The beta ran on the 5G model with firmware A076BXXU5ZZI7, while the stable build above is for the 4G/LTE model, so the 5G version’s stable release isn’t confirmed yet.
The reports list no new features or changelog, so it’s unclear what the update adds beyond Android 17 and the One UI 9 interface. The report calls the A07 the second-cheapest device eligible for One UI 9 and reads the release as a sign that Samsung’s rollout is nearing its end.
Samsung usually releases updates in stages, so the A07 may not show the update in every country at once. To check, open Settings, tap Software update, then Check for updates or Download and install. At about 2.8GB, connect to Wi-Fi and make sure you have enough charge. You can see how other budget Galaxy phones are doing in our reports on the Galaxy A16 5G’s One UI 9 beta 3 and the Galaxy A27 getting stable One UI 9 in South Korea.
