Apple has officially announced a second product event this month, called “Pro and Tell,” set for Wednesday, October 28 in Los Angeles. Marketing chief Greg Joswiak shared the news on X, writing “Can’t wait to pro and tell next week,” alongside the invite artwork. It follows the “Welcome Home” event on October 13, where Apple unveiled HomeView alongside the HomePod mini 2 and a new Apple TV 4K.
| Detail | Pro and Tell |
| Date | Wednesday, October 28, 2026 |
| Time | 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET |
| Location | Los Angeles, California |
| Format | In-person experience for invited press and creators |
Like Welcome Home, this isn’t a traditional Apple Park keynote. Media and content creators have been invited to Los Angeles for what’s described as an all-day hands-on experience, and Apple hasn’t said whether it will stream anything to the public. Apple’s events page hadn’t been updated with the event at the time of writing.
Apple hasn’t revealed what it will show, but the “Pro” in the name points to Macs, and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has reiterated what to expect.
| Product | Expected |
| MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch) | Touchscreen OLED display, Dynamic Island, a significantly lighter design, M5 Pro and M5 Max chips |
| 14-inch MacBook Pro (entry-level) | M6 chip, same design as the current model |
| iMac | M6 chip, same design as the current model |
| iPad mini | OLED display, revamped speaker system, relocated front camera |
The touchscreen MacBook Pro would be the first Mac with touch input and the biggest redesign of the line in years, while the M6 models would bring the chip that debuted in the Mac mini in August to the entry-level MacBook Pro and iMac. The OLED iPad mini has also been reported to skip a 120Hz ProMotion display, though Apple hasn’t said anything about its chip or refresh rate.
On timing, the new MacBook Pro could go on sale as early as November 6, according to earlier reports. Pricing and exact availability for everything above will only be clear once Apple makes its announcements.
