Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update, based on Android 17, to the Galaxy A27 in Europe. The European build, A276BXXU3BZIF, was spotted by firmware tipster Tarun Vats on October 19, about five days after the update first reached the phone in South Korea, where it is sold as the Galaxy Jump 5. Samsung is expected to extend the rollout to more countries in the coming days, but it hasn’t published a schedule.
| Detail | Information |

| South Korea build | A276KKSU3BZIF (October 14) |
| International build | A276BXXU3BZIF (October 19) |
| Download size | About 2.2GB (2,246.92MB), reported for the European build |
| Previous version | One UI 8.5 |
| Rollout | South Korea and Europe so far |
One UI 9.0 is reported to be a smaller update than One UI 8.5, though it still brings several changes. Reported highlights include more Quick Panel customization, a location privacy indicator, and improvements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes and accessibility features. The update also adds new AI features to One UI 9, but they are limited to the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series, so the A27 doesn’t get them. The reports don’t name the security patch level included in the update.
The rollout is unusually early for a mid-range phone. Samsung normally sends a stable release to flagships first, and the A27’s South Korean release was reported as an unexpected move that came as the phone’s beta program ended. The Galaxy A27 follows other A-series phones that have already received the update, including the Galaxy A57, which began rolling out globally on October 12.
Samsung usually releases updates in stages, so the build may not appear on every phone at once, and availability can vary by country and carrier. To check, open Settings, tap Software update, then Download and install. If nothing shows up yet, try again in a few days, and use only the update your phone offers. Make sure you’re on Wi-Fi with a good charge before installing.
