Samsung has raised prices on the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 in India for the second time in under a month, with the latest revision effective September 6, 2026.

The A37’s 12GB/256GB configuration has now climbed ₹11,000 above where it started, the biggest jump of any variant, with the equivalent A57 tier not far behind at ₹10,000 over launch. Samsung hasn’t issued a public statement explaining this specific increase, and the changes are based on price-revision documentation sent to retailers rather than a formal announcement — so while multiple outlets are independently reporting the same figures, it’s more accurate to describe this as Samsung reportedly raising prices rather than an officially confirmed hike. The reasoning most commonly cited is the same one behind Samsung’s other 2026 price adjustments: rising DRAM and NAND memory costs squeezing manufacturer margins industry-wide.
The A57 12GB/256GB variant is also reportedly out of stock at the moment, so availability is worth checking separately from the listed price.
For the money, buyers still get a reasonably well-specced phone on both models. The A57 has a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED+ display, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, a 50MP OIS main camera, and IP68 protection, backed by six years of promised OS upgrades and security updates a similar long-term software commitment to what’s shown up on Samsung’s other recent mid-rangers, including the Galaxy A36. The A37 matches most of that on paper, with the same 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 5,000mAh battery, 45W charging, and 50MP main camera, along with the same six-generation support policy; the main gap between the two remains processing power and camera versatility rather than software longevity.
