A One UI 9 beta firmware build for the Galaxy A54 just showed up on Samsung’s servers, tagged A546SKSUJZZH3, spotted by Samsung software tracker Tarun Vats and reported by SamMobile. It’s the strongest sign yet that A54 owners could actually get public beta access. That’s a real step up from what we knew back in June, when an earlier internal build, A546BXXUKGZF1, only confirmed Samsung was developing One UI 9 for the phone, not testing it toward release.
Until now, Samsung’s public One UI 9 beta has been limited entirely to the Galaxy S26 series, even though internal testing has quietly touched a long list of other devices, S, Z, A-series phones, tablets, all of it. A beta-specific firmware build for the A54 suggests Samsung might be preparing something meant for actual testers rather than just internal engineering. The Galaxy A57 shows similar signals too, with a dedicated beta program section reportedly appearing on Samsung’s Community forum for that phone.
None of this is confirmed, though. Samsung hasn’t announced a public A54 beta, hasn’t given a date, and internal firmware showing up doesn’t guarantee wider access ever happens. The A54 is still expected to get the stable One UI 9 update regardless, Samsung’s just deciding whether it’s also worth opening early access beyond its flagship line.
