Samsung looks to be laying the groundwork for a Galaxy A57 One UI 9 beta, and the clearest sign yet is a small but telling change on its own turf: a dedicated “One UI Beta Program” section for the A57 has appeared on Samsung’s official Community forum. That’s not a leak from an anonymous source, it’s Samsung’s own site though the company still hasn’t announced a start date, so treat “coming soon” as the operative phrase rather than “here now.”
This tracks with what’s already surfaced. Internal One UI 9 development on the A57 reportedly kicked off around June 2026, and a firmware build spotted in July (labeled A576BXXU4BZG8) carried Android 17 and an August 5, 2026 security patch a patch level Samsung hadn’t even publicly released for the A57 yet at the time. That’s usually a sign testing is well past the early stages.
It also fits a pattern: Samsung pushed One UI 8.5 beta to the Galaxy A36 5G earlier this year, so extending One UI 9 testing to a mid-ranger like the A57 wouldn’t be unprecedented. One UI 9 itself debuted in May 2026 on the Galaxy S26 line, bringing squared-off widget redesigns, an updated Now Bar, and expanded Gemini-powered AI tools though which of those actually land on A-series hardware is a separate question from whether the beta launches at all.
If you own an A57, keep an eye on Samsung Members rather than waiting on a press release that’s typically where beta enrollment shows up first, sometimes before Samsung says anything publicly.
