Samsung won’t put an 8,000mAh battery in a flagship. Apple certainly won’t. RedMagic just did and paired it with a cooling fan spinning at 24,000 RPM, a processor clocked to 4.74GHz, and Steam direct connectivity support. The RedMagic 11S Pro series officially launched in China today, and it is exactly as extreme as it sounds.
Two models. The 11S Pro carries the larger 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging built for marathon gaming sessions where battery anxiety simply isn’t an option. The 11S Pro+ trades 500mAh for faster 120W wired and 80W wireless charging, still a massive cell, now with faster top-ups and wireless convenience. Both models are IPX8 water resistant, impressive given the active cooling fan inside.
The chipset is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, an overclocked, hand-selected variant of Qualcomm’s flagship silicon that RedMagic claims pushed past 4.6 million AnTuTu points in internal testing. Alongside it sits the Red Core R4 gaming chip handling frame interpolation, latency reduction, and graphics enhancement independently. The 6.85-inch BOE X10 OLED at 144Hz with 960Hz touch sampling gives the hardware a display worthy of the internals.

The cooling architecture, liquid channels, 43-blade fan, 13,000mm² vapor chamber, and AI-server-grade fluorinated cooling fluid is genuinely unlike anything in a mainstream flagship. The transparent rear design lets you see parts of it working.
China pricing starts at 5,499 yuan (~$760) for the 11S Pro and climbs to 7,999 yuan for the top 11S Pro+ configuration. Global launch is rumored for May 27 with an expected starting price around $999.
ASUS ROG Phone, Lenovo Legion, and iQOO all have serious competition now. RedMagic just raised the ceiling on what a gaming phone battery and cooling system can look like in 2026.
