Realme has officially confirmed the Realme 16 Pro series ahead of its January 6, 2026 global debut (with India launch set for the same day), giving fans one of the first full looks at what to expect from the brand’s next flagship-class Number Series smartphones.
The Realme 16 Pro is shaping up as a premium performance and imaging-focused phone, sharing the stage with a Realme 16 Pro+ sibling. The company has already cemented several core specs and design directions in teasers and official confirmations ahead of the big launch.
Realme has confirmed that the 16 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, a high-efficiency platform that Realme says can deliver strong overall performance, backed by an AirFlow vapour chamber cooling system for sustained use and smoother thermals. The phone will run Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 straight out of the box.
The January 6, 2026 launch will be one of Realme’s first major global smartphone debuts of the year, with the 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ poised to take on the competitive premium mid-range segment with large batteries, high-end camera hardware, premium design and robust performance.
