Motorola has officially begun teasing the Edge 70 for its India debut, with a dedicated Flipkart microsite now live confirming the device’s arrival. While the brand hasn’t shared a launch date yet, multiple leaks suggest the phone will go official around mid-December, likely on December 15.
The India model is expected to mirror the global variant, featuring an ultra-slim 5.99 mm profile and a premium Pantone-inspired design available in Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green. Flipkart highlights the phone’s lightweight construction and upgraded durability, expected to include IP68/IP69 ratings and MIL-STD-810H protection.
Up front, the Edge 70 is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch pOLED Super HD 120Hz display with over 4,500-nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i. Under the hood, leaks point to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and fast UFS storage.
The camera setup includes a 50MP triple-camera system with ultra-wide and macro capabilities, joined by a 50MP selfie camera. Charging is expected to be a highlight, with 68W fast charging, wireless charging, and a possibly larger battery for the Indian market compared to the global 4,800 mAh unit.
The Motorola Edge 70 is expected to launch with Android 16 / Hello UX, ensuring early access to the latest AI-led features. Pricing leaks suggest the phone may land under ₹35,000, placing it directly against upper mid-range rivals.
