Apple is preparing one of its biggest Mac overhauls yet, with 11 new models reportedly set to launch across 2026 and 2027, spanning the MacBook, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro lines.
According to Bloomberg, Apple is internally testing new versions across nearly every Mac category: updated MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models, a redesigned Mac mini, refreshed Mac Studio options, and a future Mac Pro making this one of the broadest upgrade cycles since Apple’s shift away from Intel.
The refresh centers on Apple’s next-gen M5 family and beyond, promising faster CPU/GPU performance, a stronger Neural Engine, and better power efficiency all aimed at deepening on-device Apple Intelligence support across the Mac lineup.
The Mac mini could see new chip options and improved connectivity, while the Mac Studio stays positioned for professional-grade CPU/GPU workloads. A future Mac Pro update is also in the works for users running demanding tasks like 3D rendering and video production.
Reports point to several updates landing in late 2026, with additional redesigned and higher-end models following in 2027 though Apple hasn’t confirmed dates, chips, or pricing for any of it.
