Oppo has officially confirmed the Oppo Pad Air 5 launch for December 25, 2025, giving fans their first full look at the tablet’s design and specifications. The Pad Air 5 brings a modern, lightweight form factor with a 12.1‑inch 2.8K LCD display, rumored to feature a 120 Hz refresh rate, and is offered in Starlight Pink and Space Gray finishes.
Under the hood, the tablet is expected to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 10,050 mAh battery powers the device, supporting 33 W wired fast charging, ensuring long hours for media consumption, productivity, and light gaming. The Pad Air 5 is also expected to support stylus input, making it suitable for note-taking and creative tasks.
Official teasers and leaked images show a single rear camera, relatively thick display bezels, and a textured back panel, closely resembling the OnePlus Pad Go 2 suggesting the Pad Air 5 may be a rebranded sibling for Oppo’s ecosystem. Multiple configurations are expected, including Wi‑Fi-only and 5G variants, with options like 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, and 12 GB + 256 GB.
The December unveiling in China will likely set the stage for future regional launches, giving consumers a chance to see Oppo’s refreshed Pad Air design and features before it potentially arrives in India and other markets. The combination of a large, high-refresh display, strong battery, and stylus support positions the Pad Air 5 as a competitive mid-range tablet option.
