
Motorola has officially confirmed that the Edge 70 will launch in India on December 15, 2025, with sales beginning at 12:00 PM IST via Flipkart, Motorola’s online store, and select retail outlets.
The Edge 70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and comes with a 6.7‑inch AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution and likely 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup includes triple 50 MP sensors, and the phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Design-wise, the Edge 70 is slim and lightweight, weighing 159 g with a thickness of just 5.99 mm. It also offers IP68 + IP69 dust/water resistance and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, making it durable for everyday use.
Software comes in the form of Android 16 with Hello UI, along with 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The phone is expected in three color options: Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green.
Motorola is positioning the Edge 70 as a sleek, mid-range device with strong performance, modern cameras, and a compact design all at a competitive price likely under ₹35,000.
