OnePlus Ace 6 Set to Launch in October With 7800mAh Battery and 165Hz Display

Onlus ace6

The upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about mid-range flagships of 2025. Following the success of the Ace 3 series, OnePlus seems ready to bring a massive upgrade with the Ace 6, which is expected to launch in October 2025 in China. The device will likely arrive globally under the OnePlus 15R branding later this year.

Flagship-Level Display and Design

According to leaks, the OnePlus Ace 6 will feature a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel is reportedly sourced from BOE and will offer up to 5000 nits peak brightness, ensuring vivid colors and top-notch clarity for gaming and multimedia. The phone may sport a premium design with a metal frame and curved glass back, offering both aesthetics and durability.

Power-Packed Performance

Under the hood, the Ace 6 is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship processor. This promises desktop-grade performance, especially for gamers and heavy multitaskers. The device is expected to ship with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, similar to other high-end OnePlus phones.

Massive Battery and Super-Fast Charging

One of the biggest highlights is its 7800mAh battery, one of the largest ever seen in a OnePlus smartphone. Despite the massive capacity, the phone will still support 100W or 120W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of fully charging in around 25 minutes. This combination ensures outstanding endurance without sacrificing speed.

Camera and Features

The OnePlus Ace 6 is expected to house a triple-camera setup, led by a 50MP Sony main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto sensor. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera will handle selfies and video calls. Reports also suggest stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and possibly IP68 dust and water resistance.

Launch and Expected Price

The OnePlus Ace 6 is rumored to launch in China in October 2025, followed by a global release later. The expected global pricing could start around $380 to $420, depending on the configuration.

With its top-tier display, flagship processor, and huge battery, the OnePlus Ace 6 could redefine what mid-range flagships can offer combining power, efficiency, and style at an affordable price point.
