Samsung Galaxy A57 and A37 Are Almost Here: Launch Date Officially Confirmed

Galaxy A57

The leaks are finally over. Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 will be announced on March 25 at 5:30 PM India time ending weeks of renders, spec sheets, and hands-on videos that left almost nothing to surprise. Samsung India’s teaser on X says it best: “A new awesome is coming soon.” Classic A-series. Right on schedule.

The specs are already an open book. The A57 brings a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED at 120Hz, the Exynos 1680 chip, up to 12GB RAM, a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP triple camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The A37 steps slightly down with a 6.7-inch AMOLED, the Exynos 1480, a 50MP + 8MP + 5MP camera trio, and the same 5,000mAh / 45W battery setup.

Solid numbers but the competition isn’t standing still. The Redmi Note 14 Pro and Realme 13 Pro both push 200MP cameras and 6,000mAh batteries at similar or lower price points. Xiaomi’s Poco X7 Pro packs a Dimensity 8400 that outpaces Exynos 1680 in sustained performance benchmarks. On raw specs, Samsung is playing conservative.

Where Samsung punches back is software. Four years of OS updates and five years of security patches come standard on the A-series, a commitment Xiaomi and Realme haven’t matched at this tier. For buyers planning to keep their phone through 2029, that matters more than an extra camera megapixel.

The community reaction is already split one GSMArena commenter called the A57 “a relaunched A56 is a relaunched A55 is a relaunched A54.” Not entirely wrong. Not entirely fair either.
