Motorola seems ready to lean hard into World Cup hype at MWC 2026, and thanks to a fresh leak, we already know what the company plans to show off. Two special “golden” phones have surfaced FIFA‑branded versions of the Motorola Razr Fold and the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion and, well… subtle they are not.
Starting with the Razr Fold FIFA Edition, the device doesn’t appear dramatically different from the standard model at first glance. The same book‑style foldable design is here, but Motorola has sprinkled gold accents across the body and planted the FIFA logo right on the back. There’s also a patterned finish that tries to push the phone into collector territory. Whether that actually makes it look more premium or just busier is probably going to split opinions.

Specs, at least based on previous leaks, should remain unchanged. The foldable is expected to feature an 8.1‑inch 2K LTPO internal display paired with a 6.6‑inch cover screen, plus a triple 50MP camera system that includes a periscope zoom lens. Stylus support via Moto Pen Ultra is also on the cards, which could give it an extra productivity angle.
The Edge 70 Fusion FIFA Edition arguably commits even harder to the gold theme. The camera island gets a shiny gold outline, and the back once again carries the World Cup branding. Unlike the foldable, though, this one is aimed squarely at the mid‑range crowd and honestly, the flashy design might make a bit more sense here.

Under the hood, leaks point to a 6.78‑inch AMOLED display with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Memory options should go up to 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. The real attention‑grabber could be the rumored 7,000mAh battery with 68W charging, which if it holds up would easily be one of the biggest cells in this segment.
Motorola is expected to make everything official on March 2 at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The regular versions of both phones should debut alongside these FIFA editions, although early chatter suggests the Edge 70 Fusion may skip the US market.
