Realme has officially begun teasing the Realme 16 Pro series, confirming that the new mid-range lineup is “coming soon” to India. While the company hasn’t revealed the launch date, multiple leaks point to an early debut, with January being the most likely window.
According to recent certifications and insider reports, the Realme 16 Pro series will include two models Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ both bringing notable upgrades in display, camera hardware, and battery life.
The Realme 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother animations and sharper visuals compared to its predecessor. Under the hood, RAM and storage options may start at 8GB + 128GB, going up to 12GB + 512GB for higher variants.
Camera upgrades appear to be a major focus this year. Leaks suggest the 16 Pro will come with a 200MP main camera, paired with a secondary 8MP lens. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is expected to be a notable jump for this segment. The Pro+ model may add a telephoto/periscope lens, bringing improved optical zoom capabilities to the lineup for the first time.
Battery performance also looks promising. The Realme 16 Pro is tipped to pack a large 7,000mAh battery, aiming to deliver exceptional endurance. The device reportedly measures 7.75mm in thickness and weighs around 192g, which is impressive for a phone with such a large battery.Design leaks show new Grey, Gold, and Purple color options, giving the series a refreshed look. Realme is also expected to highlight AI-enhanced imaging and performance features as part of its marketing push.
