Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Review: Slim, Stylish, and Surprisingly Capable

I’ve been using the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ for a while now, and to be honest, this phone surprised me in more ways than I expected. A few days ago, I reviewed another super thin smartphone that also had wireless charging, but this one takes things a step further. At just 5.95mm, it’s currently the world’s slimmest phone with a curved AMOLED display, and it feels incredibly sleek in hand.

But with a phone this thin, there’s always that one question in mind: is it durable enough for daily use? Can you slip it into your jeans pocket, sit down, and not worry about it bending or breaking? Well, after using it for several days, here’s what I’ve found.

Design, Build Quality, and Durability

The first thing you’ll notice about the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is how premium it feels. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, giving it resistance to scratches and drops up to 1.5 meters. The back is made from a fiberglass composite, and the frame is aerospace-grade aluminum. It feels sturdy, light, and elegant at the same time, something you don’t often find in phones at this price.

For gaming, I played Call of Duty: Mobile on medium graphics and high frame rate, and the experience was smooth with no lag. Even though PUBG ran on HDR graphics and ultra frame rate the phone got a bit warm after 15 minutes, but nothing serious. For a budget gaming phone, this is impressive.

Software and AI Features

The phone runs on Android 15 with Infinix’s XOS 15.1 skin on top. It’s clean, colorful, and feels much more polished than before. Animations are smoother, app launching is quick, and the overall experience feels refined.

However, there’s some bloatware preinstalled apps that I didn’t download. Thankfully, you can uninstall most of them.

There’s also AI Sharpness+ that enhances image clarity, and AI Vogue, which helps create unique wallpapers. Another cool feature is Ultra Link, which lets you make calls and send messages to nearby devices without a SIM or Wi-Fi just using Bluetooth. I tested it, and it worked within a range of about 40 meters.

Overall, these little AI touches make the phone feel smarter and more useful in daily life.

Camera Performance

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ features a 50MP Sony main sensor and a 32MP front camera, and honestly, both perform surprisingly well for the price.

The front camera delivers sharp, natural photos with accurate skin tones. I tested it both indoors (under studio light) and outdoors, and the results were consistently good. Portrait mode struggles a bit around the edges, but still produces nice background separation.

The phone can shoot 2K videos at 30fps, and though there’s no stabilization at that resolution, the video looks sharp and detailed. Once you enable EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), it switches to 1080p 30fps, and the footage becomes smoother.

The rear camera also does a fine job in daylight. Colors look true-to-life, and details are well preserved. Even my pet photos turned out nicely. Infinix clearly worked hard on tuning these cameras.

For social media content or casual photography, it’s easily one of the better cameras you’ll get at this price.

Battery Life and Charging

Now, here’s where things get interesting. Despite being so thin, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ packs a 5,160mAh battery, and I still don’t understand how they managed to fit it in there.

On a normal day browsing, watching videos, taking photos, and a bit of gaming I usually ended the day with around 10% left by evening. That’s solid endurance for a slim phone.

Charging is handled by a 45W fast charger included in the box. It takes about 1 hour and 11 minutes to go from 0 to 100%. The best part? It doesn’t heat up while charging.

In short, the battery performance is excellent for daily use.

Price and Final Thoughts

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ starts at around $165 for the 128GB version and about $182 for the 256GB model. I do wish it was a little cheaper if Infinix knocked off around $10 to $15, it would easily become a killer deal.

But even at this price, you’re getting a phone that’s slim, stylish, and surprisingly powerful. The display is gorgeous, the cameras are good, performance is smooth, and battery life is solid.

Sure, there are a few drawbacks: no memory card slot, no headphone jack, and a bit of bloatware but none of these are deal-breakers.

If you’re looking for a thin, premium-feeling smartphone that performs well and looks stunning, this one definitely deserves your attention. Infinix has really stepped up its game here, and the Hot 60 Pro+ is proof that great design doesn’t always have to come at a flagship price.
