Samsung Starts One UI 9 Rollout for Galaxy A57

Memory Prices Are Up 200% and Budget Smartphones Are Paying the Biggest Price

Samsung has started rolling out stable One UI 9.0, based on Android 17, to the Galaxy A57 and it’s doing so first in South Korea, where the phone is sold as the Galaxy Quantum 7. The update arrives as firmware A576SKSU2BZIE and marks the end of the A57’s One UI 9 beta program, which had earlier started in India on a build weighing about 2.3GB.

What makes this rollout notable is less the device and more the timing: Samsung’s stable One UI 9 releases so far have been limited to flagship phones, and the A57 is the first mid-range Galaxy device to get it. Other markets are expected to follow in the coming days, and since Samsung has already been testing One UI 9 on several other A-series phones, more mid-rangers should get their stable builds soon.

On the software side, One UI 9 brings My FanCam, Now Nudge, an improved Now Brief, a more customizable Quick Panel, updates to Samsung Notes, and additional privacy and security features. Not every flagship-level feature is guaranteed to carry over, though some Galaxy AI functions may be limited or unavailable on the A57, the way they were on its predecessor, the Galaxy A56.
