Samsung has expanded the stable, Android 17-based One UI 9 rollout for the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra beyond South Korea and the US. The update is now appearing in India and multiple European markets, which moves the S25 series into the broader international phase of the rollout.
| Region | Stable One UI 9 status |
| South Korea | Rolled out first, on September 28 |
| United States | Expanded to U.S. models afterward |
| Europe | Rolling out now |
| India | Rollout has started |
| Other markets | Expected to follow progressively |
In Europe, the update is initially reaching One UI 9 beta participants, with the general public expected to receive it afterward. That matters for download size. Beta users get a much smaller package, while anyone upgrading from the previous stable software faces a full OTA download of over 3GB. India was one of the markets chosen for the One UI 9 beta alongside Korea, the UK and the U.S., so Indian S25-series owners who were enrolled are among those now seeing the stable build.
This is the same One UI 9 update that began on the S26 series and reached the S25 line in Korea and the U.S. earlier, so there’s no new feature set here, although Samsung says availability can vary by country, language, model and carrier. Samsung’s official One UI 9 announcement says the update will keep rolling out gradually to more Galaxy devices, which fits the staged pattern seen so far, so not every S25 owner in these regions will get the notification on the same day.
If you’re in India or Europe, you can check manually under Settings > Software update > Download and install.
