Samsung has started rolling out stable One UI 9.0, based on Android 17, to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. As usual, South Korea is first in line, and One UI 9 beta participants are the first to receive the build, identified by the EZIH designation. Beta users are looking at a download of around 407MB, while anyone jumping straight from One UI 8.5 should expect a much bigger update potentially 4GB or more since that’s a full Android version jump rather than a finishing package.

The update brings the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 the same core One UI 9 features flagship owners have been getting: My FanCam, Now Nudge, an enhanced Now Brief, Call Brief, Privacy Alerts, Creative Studio improvements, Document Scan, Voice Recorder improvements, and more Quick Panel customization, alongside additional security and privacy enhancements. Samsung notes some features can vary by device, region, and language.
This is still just a South Korea-first rollout, following Samsung’s usual phased pattern; the US, Europe, India, and other markets should get the stable build after Korea, though Samsung hasn’t given a specific global date for either foldable yet.
