One UI 9.5 Now Testing on All Four Galaxy S27 Models

Samsung’s next major software update just got a lot more visible. What started as a single One UI 9.5 firmware build spotted on the Galaxy S27 Ultra has expanded fast all four rumored Galaxy S27 models, including the S27, S27+, and a new S27 Pro tier, have now turned up running early Android 17-based One UI 9.5 builds on Samsung’s US test servers.

That’s a notably fast spread for software this early. The first sighting, tied to build S958USQU0AZH3, only surfaced hours before three more device-specific builds followed, all carrying placeholder FOTA hashes across multiple US carrier variants the kind of infrastructure Samsung typically sets up once internal testing is genuinely underway, not just a stray leaked file.

The timing lines up with Samsung’s established rhythm. Last year’s first One UI 8.5 build appeared July 25, ahead of a December beta and a stable release riding along with the Galaxy S26. One UI 9.5 showing up at almost the same point in the calendar suggests Samsung hasn’t slowed down, even with its newest foldables barely out the door the Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra begin their retail rollout August 7, running One UI 9.0.

There’s a wrinkle worth flagging, too: this build only exists on US servers so far, with no Korean or global variant sightings yet, so treat the four-model confirmation as US-specific until broader firmware turns up. Samsung hasn’t confirmed a beta timeline, but based on last year’s pattern, a One UI 9.5 beta for existing Galaxy S26 owners could realistically start appearing before the end of the year well before the S27 series itself launches in early 2027.
