Galaxy S25 Edge and S25 FE Get Stable One UI 9 

Samsung finished rolling out stable One UI 9 to the whole Galaxy S25 lineup in South Korea on September 28 the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra went first earlier in the day, with the S25 Edge and S25 FE following shortly after.

The size gap comes down to who was already on the beta. Beta testers on the S25, S25 Ultra, and S25 FE only needed a smaller package to move onto the final build, while the S25 Edge which never had a public beta jumped straight from its previous stable software to One UI 9, so it needed the full download, something users on Samsung’s own Community forum have been tracking closely as each device came online.

This is the same One UI 9 update currently expanding across the Galaxy S26 series, bringing the usual mix of Galaxy AI, customization, and privacy improvements Samsung’s been rolling out generation by generation. Availability outside Korea isn’t confirmed yet Samsung typically expands a stable release by country and carrier over the following days rather than everywhere at once, so it’s worth checking Settings, then Software update, rather than assuming it’s landed globally already.
