Early One UI 9.5 screenshots show Samsung making small changes to the Clock app, according to SamMobile. The most visible one is on the Earth Globe screen, where the search and current-location buttons move from the top-right corner to floating buttons at the bottom-right. The screenshots come from early software, the same stage as the One UI 9.5 test firmware spotted for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Samsung hasn’t announced the changes or a release date.
| Clock screen | Reported change in One UI 9.5 |
| Earth Globe | Search and location buttons move to the bottom-right as floating buttons |
| Alarm | Redesigned sleep-alarm card showing bedtime and wake-up time side by side |
| World Clock | Different background with a dark map outline, per comparison screenshots |
| Time Zone Converter | Minor gradient, slider and toolbar tweaks |
| Navigation | Bottom bar still has Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch and Timer |
| Availability | Not released, early software |
The bottom-right move is meant to be easier to reach with a thumb on large phones. The top header keeps only the back button, and the same change is reported for the search button in the Calendar app. The tab bar at the bottom stays in its familiar layout, so Samsung isn’t reorganizing the app.

The Alarm page is where the other noticeable change is reported. In One UI 9 the wake-up time is large and the bedtime is smaller, while the One UI 9.5 comparison shows both in two side-by-side sections with moon and sun icons above them, the days of the week below and the toggle moved towards the lower right. Regular alarm cards don’t appear to get the same treatment. The World Clock and Time Zone Converter changes are mostly visual: a darker map-style background, a slightly smoother gradient and small adjustments to the offset slider. These details come from comparison screenshots we couldn’t check directly, and the city order shown in them depends on the user’s saved locations, so it shouldn’t count as a change. No new time-conversion or Stopwatch and Timer features have been reported.
One UI 9.5 is still in development, and the final interface could change before release. The beta could start later this month or in early December, with the Galaxy S26 series likely first, though Samsung hasn’t confirmed dates. Earlier hints at the update include App Lock coming to One UI 9.5, and Samsung is also testing the software on mid-range phones, such as the second One UI 9.5 test build for the Galaxy A57.
