Galaxy A54 Joins Samsung’s One UI 9 Beta Program 

Samsung has opened the One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy A54, and Samsung’s Community forum shows it’s now live for users in India. Samsung hasn’t said whether it plans to expand the A54 beta to other countries.

This isn’t a surprise. One UI 9 firmware for the A54 first showed up on Samsung’s servers back in June (A546BXXUKGZF1), followed by another internal test build (A546SKSUJZZH3) in August, though neither was a guarantee Samsung would actually open a public beta. The ZZI4 build is the first one real users can install.

Joining works the usual way: open Samsung Members, sign in, look for the One UI 9 Beta Program banner, register, then head to Settings, then Software update, then Download and install. Since availability is region-dependent, an A54 owner outside India probably won’t see the option yet.

The A54 launched in 2023, which makes its inclusion notable on its own. Samsung has been taking One UI 9 testing well below its flagships, with the A57, A56, A55, A36, A35, A25, A15 5G and A16 5G all already in the program. There’s no confirmed stable release date. Some reports point to the second half of October for certain A-series models, but that’s an expectation, not something Samsung has announced.
