Vivo S60 Series Is Coming Ocean-Inspired Design, 200MP Camera, and a 7,000mAh Battery

Vivo S60 Series

Vivo’s next mid-range flagship is starting to take shape. The company’s executive Han Boxiao officially teased the Vivo S60 series on Weibo this week and the design language alone is enough to turn heads before a single spec gets confirmed.

The rear panel uses silver-white cold-carved glass designed to reflect light like ocean waves inspired by summer, sand, stars, and sea aesthetics. Brushed aluminum frame, smooth unibody construction, and a premium in-hand feel are all part of the official tease. It sounds more poetic than most phone launches but the early renders back it up. This looks genuinely beautiful.

Underneath the pretty glass, leaks point to a serious spec sheet. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 handles processing duties on a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat panel at 120Hz. Cameras are rumored at 200MP main with a Sony IMX8-series sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto, a combination that would make this one of the most capable camera mid-rangers of the year. Battery lands at a reported 7,000mAh with 90W fast charging comfortably class-leading. IP68 and IP69 dual water resistance plus ultrasonic fingerprint scanner complete the package.

Two models are expected, a standard S60 and a smaller S60 Pro Mini for compact flagship lovers. Globally, the S60 will likely be rebranded as the Vivo V80 following Vivo’s established Chinese-to-global naming strategy.

China launch is expected Q3 2026 with global availability to follow.

Nothing is officially confirmed beyond the design tease but if the leaks hold, the S60 is going to be a serious mid-range contender.
