Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Design and Specs Leak

Samsung’s upcoming flagship is already stirring excitement as a fresh S26 Ultra design leak reveals major upgrades ahead of its expected February launch. Strong reports suggest sales could begin by late February or early March, while Samsung has reportedly cancelled the S26 Edge after realizing consumers didn’t prefer ultra-thin designs like last year’s S25 Edge.

According to the latest leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature three major design changes. The camera module has been redesigned to resemble the Z Fold 7, with a deco panel covering the three primary lenses of the Ultra’s five-camera setup. The device is also getting noticeably lighter and slimmer, dropping from 220g to around 214g, and thinning from 8.2mm to 7.9mm. Another highlight is the addition of magnetic C2 charging, giving the phone a MagSafe-style upgrade. The phone will keep its boxy frame, IP68 rating, and S Pen slot though the S Pen still lacks Bluetooth. Viral claims of a new Orange color option are said to be fake and AI-generated.

The display also sees improvements, including Samsung’s new M14 OLED panel, a third-generation anti-reflective coating, and a possible AI privacy feature called “Flex Magic Pixel Tech,” designed to block side views. Brightness remains at 2600 nits, and the front punch-hole will be slightly larger due to a wider FoV selfie camera.

Performance leaks indicate Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for most markets, with a chance of Exynos 2600 appearing in select regions. RAM starts at 12GB, while China will receive a 16GB variant, with faster 10.7 Gbps speeds expected to boost on-device AI and stabilize 8K 30fps video.

Camera changes remain subtle but meaningful most of the S25 Ultra hardware returns, though the 3x telephoto will get a larger sensor while staying at 12MP. The 200MP + 50MP + 50MP + 12MP setup is expected to benefit from improved processing thanks to the upgraded ISP.

Battery rumors hint at a slight bump to around 5400 mAh, with efficiency gains coming from the new chipset. Charging may finally jump from 45W to 60W. The S26 Ultra is also set to debut with One UI 8.5, described as a major software update.
