Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India, and the pitch centers on a spec sheet that punches above its price bracket: a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, OIS on the main camera, and six years of both OS and security updates a commitment few phones under ₹30,000 can match.

Pricing starts at ₹25,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, climbing to ₹29,999 for 8GB+128GB and ₹34,999 for the top 8GB+256GB configuration, though Samsung’s launch offers bring the effective entry price down to ₹23,999. Sales begin August 8 through Flipkart and Samsung’s own online store, in Alpha Black and Aura Green colorways.
Display
The display is genuinely a step up for this segment. The 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel runs at 120Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ a detail worth flagging since most rivals in this price range still ship HD+ LCD panels rather than AMOLED with flagship-grade glass. Brightness figures vary slightly across Samsung’s own materials, with some listings citing 1,200 nits HBM and others 1,400 nits peak, but either way it’s a meaningfully brighter panel than what competitors typically offer here.
Performance and Storage
Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, a 4nm chip paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage that’s also expandable up to 2TB via a hybrid SIM slot useful for buyers who’d rather not choose between dual-SIM and extra storage.
Cameras
The camera setup leads with a 50MP OIS main sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro, backed by a 13MP selfie camera with HDR support and 4K video recording on the rear.
Battery and Software
Samsung is leaning hardest on the battery and software combination. The 6,000mAh cell with 45W charging is rated for more than 24 hours of continuous YouTube streaming by Samsung’s own claim, and the six-year OS and security update promise puts the F70 Pro’s software runway ahead of phones costing significantly more Samsung’s own Galaxy S25 FE, for comparison, doesn’t get a longer commitment than this.
How It Compares
This launch also puts Samsung in direct competition with OnePlus’s own recent budget push. OnePlus’s N6x launched at a lower ₹18,999 with a much larger 7,000mAh battery, but skipped OIS entirely and capped charging at 15W meaning buyers choosing between the two are really deciding whether display quality and camera stabilization matter more than raw battery capacity and rock-bottom pricing.
The F70 Pro also slots into an existing Samsung sub-lineup already occupied by the Galaxy F70e, giving Samsung two distinct F70-branded options at different price points within the same series a fragmentation strategy Samsung has leaned on before, though it does add another layer of “which F70 should I actually buy” confusion for shoppers browsing Samsung’s India lineup.

For anyone shopping the sub-₹30,000 segment specifically for display quality and long-term software support, the F70 Pro is a strong pick. Buyers prioritizing raw battery size or the lowest possible price will find OnePlus’s N6x line the more compelling trade-off instead.
