Samsung has released the second One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy A56, based on Android 17 and currently available in South Korea. It arrives roughly two weeks after the phone’s first beta, carrying firmware A566SKSUAZZI7.
| Detail | Information |
| Software | One UI 9.0 Beta 2 |
| Android version | Android 17 |
| Firmware | A566SKSUAZZI7 |
| Initial market | South Korea |
| Main focus | Bug fixes and stability |
Unlike some of the AI-heavy Beta 2 updates rolling out to Samsung’s flagship lineup, this one is mainly a stability pass rather than a feature drop Samsung’s changelog points to general bug fixes and stability improvements rather than new functionality. The broader One UI 9 experience the A56 is being tested on still includes the usual set of changes: a more customizable Quick Panel, DeX windowing improvements, a new Notes Tape feature, and extra Game Booster options, similar to what’s shown up on other recent Galaxy A-series devices going through the same beta cycle though those aren’t confirmed as new additions specific to this particular build.
Availability is limited to South Korea for now, with expansion to India, the UK, and the US expected sometime this week, according to SamMobile. Anyone already enrolled in the beta program can check for it under Settings, then Software update, then Download and install, with new enrollments handled through the Samsung Members app.
With Samsung now running the stable One UI 9 rollout for the Galaxy S26 series, devices further along the beta program, including the A56, are expected to move toward their own stable releases eventually but there’s no confirmed stable-release date for the A56 yet, so treat any specific date you see elsewhere as speculation rather than something Samsung has announced.
Samsung’s Community post confirms the Korea rollout for Beta 2 directly.
