The Nothing Phone (4b) officially launched today the first device in Nothing’s brand new (b) series and it’s doing exactly what the name implies: delivering the brand’s signature transparent-inspired aesthetic and clean software experience at a price that’s genuinely competitive. Sales open July 17 in Europe, India, and other supported markets.
Pricing lands at £299 / €329 globally and ₹29,999 in India sitting below the Phone (4a) in Nothing’s lineup while keeping everything that made the brand recognizable in the first place.
The design stays true to Nothing’s identity despite cost-saving compromises. The transparent-inspired rear is present, the new Glyph Bar LED notification system makes the cut, and it comes in three clean colorways Black, White, and Blue. The main trade-off is construction plastic unibody rather than the aluminum frame on higher-end models. IP64 dust and splash resistance handles everyday protection. A limited RCB Edition celebrates Nothing’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru partnership in India with custom red-themed design and exclusive packaging.
Hardware is practical rather than flashy. The 6.77-inch OLED at 120Hz hits up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, genuinely sharp, smooth, and bright for the price. Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 on 4nm drives performance alongside 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage depending on the market. A 50MP OIS main camera covers everyday photography alongside an ultrawide secondary lens.
Battery is where the Phone (4b) makes its strongest value argument. The global version carries 5,200mAh, while the India variant jumps to 6,000mAh, one of the largest cells Nothing has ever shipped. Fast charging handles top-ups, though exact wattage varies by region.
Software runs Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1, backed by 3 years of Android OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches solid long-term support for a budget device. Google Gemini and ChatGPT integration come standard alongside Nothing’s own Essential AI tools.
One notable omission: the Phone (4b) won’t launch in the United States, continuing Nothing’s pattern of keeping its more affordable lineup out of the US market.
At £299 with a 120Hz OLED, OIS camera, and Nothing’s genuinely distinctive design language the Phone (4b) is one of the most interesting budget launches of July 2026. Sales start July 17. Don’t overthink it.
