Nothing is creating an entirely new tier in its lineup. The Phone (4b) launches July 7 at 3:30 PM IST in India, exclusively through Flipkart and it’s the first device in what the company calls its “b-series” positioned below the Phone (4a) as a more affordable entry point into Nothing’s ecosystem.
Co-founder Akis Evangelidis explained the naming logic clearly: numbers represent generations, letters represent segments. The a-series stays premium mid-range; the new b-series targets buyers who want Nothing’s identity at a lower price.
And that identity is genuinely intact. The Phone (4b) keeps the signature transparent rear panel, exposed screws, and industrial-style internals that made Nothing recognizable from day one. A simplified horizontal Glyph Bar preserves the lighting system in a more cost-effective form, alongside a pill-shaped camera module with dual rear cameras and LED flash positioned alongside it a cleaner, more minimalist take than the Phone (4a) Pro’s camera arrangement.
Leaked Geekbench listings point to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with 8GB RAM, running Android 16 with Nothing OS, paired with an AMOLED display at high refresh rate. Battery details remain unconfirmed.
Color options spotted in leaks include Blue, White, and Black, with Blue already featured in official teasers.
Pricing isn’t official yet, but reports suggest the Phone (4b) will land ₹3,000–5,000 cheaper than the Phone (4a), likely landing somewhere between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000.
