Motorola has officially launched its Motorola Signature smartphone in India, marking the brand’s strongest push yet into the premium flagship segment. The device was unveiled at an event in Mumbai on January 23, 2026, with sales set to begin January 30 through Flipkart, Motorola’s online store, and major retail channels nationwide.

The Signature is built around top-tier hardware, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage, delivering flagship-level performance for demanding apps and gaming. It features a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and up to 6,200 nits peak brightness, ensuring smooth visuals and excellent outdoor readability.

Photography is a highlight, with the Signature sporting a quad 50 MP camera system including a Sony LYTIA 828 primary sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom and up to 100× “Super Zoom Pro”, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera as well as a 50 MP front camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls. The camera system has earned DXOMARK Gold Label certification, underlining its imaging prowess.

The phone’s design blends premium materials with durability, featuring an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade toughness. Additional hardware includes Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Bose-tuned stereo speakers, and a comprehensive sensor array for advanced functions.

Battery life is supported by a 5,200 mAh silicon-carbon cell with 90 W TurboPower wired and 50 W wireless charging, plus reverse wireless options, while the phone runs Android 16 with Hello UI and comes with an industry-leading promise of seven years of OS and security updates.

On the pricing front, the Motorola Signature is offered in multiple storage variants: the 12 GB + 256 GB model starts at ₹59,999, the 16 GB + 512 GB at ₹64,999, and the top-end 16 GB + 1 TB version at ₹69,999. Launch offers include bank discounts, exchange bonuses, and bundled perk incentives.
