Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Leaks Reveal Dual-Hinge Design and Massive 10-Inch Display

Galaxy Z TriFold

Samsung’s long-rumored Galaxy Z TriFold is finally starting to take shape, and the latest leaks give us our clearest look yet at what could be the company’s most ambitious foldable to date.

Recent footage shows the device folding twice in a “G-shape,” using two inward-folding hinges that transform a compact phone into a tablet-sized 10-inch display. When folded, a 6.5-inch cover screen takes the front for typical smartphone use, a layout that seems both practical and futuristic.

According to new reports, Samsung is experimenting with three separate batteries, each housed in one folding section, to maintain balance and improve endurance. This setup could also explain the device’s slightly thicker body compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Camera leaks suggest the TriFold may borrow the 200MP primary sensor from Samsung’s flagship line, joined by ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. The rear design looks quite similar to the Z Fold 7, maintaining Samsung’s signature clean layout.

Bluetooth SIG listings have surfaced with model numbers SM-D639U and SM-D639B, hinting at a global launch including the US after earlier rumors suggested a limited release. However, production might still be tight, with reports claiming only about 50,000 units planned for the first wave.

Pricing is expected to land around $3,000, putting it firmly in luxury territory. Still, that’s not surprising given the engineering behind a dual-hinge foldable.

The Galaxy Z TriFold might debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 lineup, but nothing is official yet. If the leaks are accurate, Samsung could be on the verge of redefining what a foldable phone can be.
