The Galaxy S26 FE is officially on sale starting September 4 in the US, UK, and across Europe. It comes in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio. India sits outside today’s rollout entirely, with Samsung setting a separate sale date of September 18 and pricing still unannounced there. Samsung’s own press release confirms all of the below alongside the phone’s full feature set.

The headline detail is software. The S26 FE is the first phone in the entire Galaxy S26 lineup to ship with One UI 9 and Android 17 straight out of the box, ahead of even the numbered S26 series. Samsung is backing that with seven generations of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, an unusually long commitment for what’s traditionally been the budget-leaning member of the S-series family.
Hardware-wise, the phone runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 2500, built on a 3nm process, the same chip that had already shown up in parts of the Galaxy S25 lineup depending on region. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM and a choice of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage, a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display running at 120Hz with peak brightness up to 1,900 nits, and a frame built from aluminum alloy with Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back, rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
The camera setup carries a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, backed by up to 30x digital zoom. Every lens can shoot 4K at 60fps, and the main sensor pushes up to 8K at 30fps, notable specs for an FE-tier device. Samsung has also brought over My FanCam, which automatically tracks and reframes a chosen subject while recording, along with Super Steady with Horizontal Lock to keep footage level even when the phone itself tilts, and its usual Nightography processing for low-light shots.
Galaxy AI gets a heavier push than past FE phones too. Now Brief adds customizable briefing cards, Now Nudge extends context-aware suggestions to more third-party apps, and Circle to Search can now identify multiple objects in a single image rather than one at a time, building on the kind of Galaxy AI tools that have become a genuine selling point for Samsung over the past couple of generations. Photo Assist allows natural-language photo edits with a step-by-step undo history, Creative Studio turns prompts or sketches into sticker sets, and Gemini Omni can pull clips straight from the Gallery to help assemble short edited videos.
Battery capacity holds at 4,900mAh, with 45W wired charging capable of reaching roughly 69 percent in 30 minutes, plus 15W wireless charging and wireless PowerShare. Samsung rates it for up to 29 hours of video playback under its own test conditions. An upgraded Smart Switch now handles QR-code transfers from either Android or iPhone, covering passwords, passkeys, eSIM data, and call history, and after a coming software update, the S26 FE will also be able to receive files directly from AirDrop through Quick Share, a small but useful bit of cross-platform compatibility. New buyers additionally get six months of Google AI Pro, including 5TB of cloud storage, bundled in.

At $50 more than the Galaxy S25 FE’s original $649.99 starting price, the S26 FE isn’t cheaper than what it replaces, but it is arriving with more software runway and a heavier AI feature set than any FE phone before it. Samsung already has a Galaxy S26 FE product page live in Pakistan, though nothing so far confirms September 4 as the local retail date there.
