POCO has officially launched its next-generation flagship killers the POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra at a global event held on November 26, 2025 in Bali, Indonesia. The company is pushing deeper into the premium-performance segment, equipping both devices with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, high-brightness AMOLED displays, and Bose-tuned stereo speakers.
The POCO F8 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 3500 nits, making it one of the brightest panels in POCO’s history. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3, offering improved system fluidity and gaming optimizations.
In the camera department, the F8 Pro carries a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens offering around 2.5× optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 20MP selfie camera rests upfront. The phone houses a large 6210mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, further supported by an IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 7, in-display fingerprint sensor, and Bose-tuned stereo speakers.
For users seeking an even more premium experience, POCO introduced the F8 Ultra, the most feature-packed phone the brand has launched to date. It sports a larger 6.9-inch AMOLED display, also 120Hz, with similar brightness levels. Under the hood, it uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, supported by up to 16GB RAM and 512GB or higher storage. Like the Pro, it runs on Android 16 with HyperOS 3.
The F8 Ultra steps up the camera setup with a triple 50MP system: a high-end primary camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5× optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it includes a 32MP selfie camera for sharper imaging. Its 6500mAh battery supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, putting it squarely in the flagship territory.
A standout highlight of the Ultra is its 2.1-channel audio system, featuring Bose-tuned stereo speakers with an integrated subwoofer, a rare addition in smartphones and aimed at users who prioritise media and gaming audio quality.
Both models come with the latest connectivity features, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, advanced GNSS, and several years of promised software updates. POCO’s focus this year is clear: deliver flagship-level performance, superior multimedia experiences, and premium camera capabilities at a significantly more affordable price than traditional high-end brands.
