Luxury Brand Caviar Unveils $16,000 Gold Custom iPhone Ultra

Leave it to Caviar to jump the gun in the most extravagant way possible. The luxury customization house just launched its “Flagship” collection, a set of bespoke foldable phones inspired by Apple’s still-unannounced iPhone Ultra and yes, you can pre-order one today for as much as $16,270.

Apple hasn’t confirmed a foldable iPhone exists, let alone revealed what it’ll look like. Caviar doesn’t care. The atelier built its entire collection around industry leaks suggesting a book-style foldable that could become Apple’s most expensive handset yet, sitting above the current Pro lineup.

  • Gold Edition the crown jewel, with an 18K gold 3D Apple logo, carbon fiber panel, and up to 1TB storage, marking Apple’s 50th anniversary. Price: $16,270.
  • Dark Cherry Edition purple crocodile leather with 24K gold plating, riffing on a rumored Pro color.
  • Titan Edition all-black, minimalist, crocodile leather trim.
  • Silver Edition sterling silver body with a silver-crafted logo.

Aerospace-grade titanium, genuine crocodile leather, and both 18K and 24K gold explain why prices start at $13,840. Caviar, the Dubai-based customizer known for gilding everything from iPhones to Samsung foldables, says the goal is preserving Apple’s design language while layering on materials Apple itself would never use.

This isn’t the first time Caviar has monetized anticipation before an official launch, but betting six figures’ worth of production on unconfirmed leaks is a bold move, one that says as much about collector demand as it does about Apple’s rumor mill.
