Leaks have begun painting a clear picture of the upcoming Honor Power 2, and one of the biggest talking points isn’t its battery or performance, it’s the design that closely resembles Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro. Early images and insider tips circulating on Chinese social media show the phone’s rear camera layout and overall aesthetic drawing direct comparisons to Apple’s flagship, sparking conversation about how closely Honor’s new mid-range device mirrors the look of the iPhone-branded model.
According to recent Geekbench leaks, the Honor Power 2 (model HONOR SER-AN00) surfaced running a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset paired with 12 GB of RAM, and software based on Android 16 with MagicOS 10 a solid foundation for a mid-range performer. The chipset showed modest performance gains over its predecessor but remains well-positioned for everyday use and light gaming tasks.
Where the Power 2 is truly grabbing attention is its design language. A leaked image shared by a popular tipster on Weibo depicts a rectangular camera island spanning much of the phone’s back, housing three lenses and a flash arranged in a pattern that strongly resembles the rear setup of the iPhone 17 Pro. The orange colour shown in the leak closely matches one of Apple’s signature tones from its Pro lineup, and additional expected finishes include black and white, reinforcing the visual similarity.
Specs tied to the leaks include a 6.79-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 50 MP primary rear camera and a 16 MP front-facing shooter, all typical fare for a 2026 mid-range device. The phone is also expected to pack a massive ~10,080 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging support, giving it class-leading endurance.
