Apple’s annual Pride Month tradition is back. iOS 26.5 arrives with a new Pride-themed wallpaper as its headline visual addition, a dynamic, colorful design inspired by Pride flags featuring a light-reflecting, color-shifting effect that fits naturally into iOS 26’s Liquid Glass design language.
It doesn’t stop at the wallpaper. watchOS 26.5 adds a matching “Pride Luminance” watch face, and Apple is releasing a new Pride Edition Apple Watch band separately. The full ecosystem treatment phone, watch face, and band is Apple’s signature coordinated approach, timed deliberately to land just before June’s Pride Month.
Outside the visual additions, iOS 26.5 remains a minor update RCS encryption improvements, Maps changes, and under-the-hood refinements. The Pride wallpaper is genuinely the main thing most users will notice.
