The Galaxy A54 5G has picked up its second One UI 9 beta, and it’s another quick turnaround for Samsung. The update is rolling out in India to users enrolled in the One UI 9 beta program, about ten days after the first beta opened for the phone on September 28.
Beta 2 is a small, polish-focused build rather than a feature drop. SamMobile notes that only one change is officially listed, improved camera stability, so the update is mainly about bug fixes and stability. Samsung hasn’t announced any additional major features for it.
| Beta 1 | Beta 2 | |
| Build | A546EXXUNZZI4 | A546EXXUNZZJ2 |
| Size | 2,581.07MB (about 2.58GB) | 337.33MB |
| Security patch | September 2026 (fixed 90 issues) | October 2026 |
| Android / One UI | 17 / 9 | 17 / 9 |
| Region | India | India |
The size gap is what you’d expect from an incremental beta. The first build carried the broader One UI 9 changes, including more Quick Panel customization, improved Samsung Notes and DeX, a location privacy indicator and accessibility improvements, so Beta 2 only has to patch things on top of it.
If you’re already enrolled, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Anyone who wants to join can enroll through the Samsung Members app.
Samsung hasn’t said how many more betas the A54 will get, and there’s no official stable release date. The fast Beta 1 to Beta 2 cadence suggests Samsung is actively polishing the software, and since stable One UI 9 has already started reaching some Galaxy A-series models, the A54’s stable build should land later in the rollout.
