Samsung’s stable One UI 9 update has moved beyond South Korea for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, with users on Samsung’s Community forum confirming it’s now arriving on US carriers AT&T for the Z Flip 7, and T-Mobile and Verizon for the Z Fold 7. Both carrier-locked and factory-unlocked units are included, though availability still depends on network and device.
| Date | Milestone |
| Sept 28 | Stable rollout begins in South Korea |
| Oct 2-3 | US rollout begins on select networks |
| Oct 5 | US rollout expands to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon |
| Coming days | More carriers, more countries expected |
Carrier-locked US Z Fold 7 units are getting firmware F966USQUCCZIH, matching the Korean stable build (F966NKSUCCZIH) that went out about a week earlier. It’s the same One UI 9 update already live on the Galaxy S26 series, with the same Galaxy AI and privacy features carrying over to these two foldables. Anyone who’s eligible can check under Settings, then Software update, then Download and install and if nothing’s showing up yet, that’s normal given how staggered this rollout has been so far, not necessarily a sign anything’s wrong.
