Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Design Leaks Early

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE just gave itself away before Samsung was ready. A WPC wireless charging certification listing surfaced on June 6 carrying model number SM-S741, accompanied by case renders from third-party retailers spotted by SammyGuru and together they paint a surprisingly complete picture of Samsung’s upcoming affordable Galaxy S flagship.

The design follows the 2026 Samsung language closely. A vertical pill-shaped triple camera island, flat AMOLED display, single centered punch-hole, symmetrical slim bezels, flat aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass front and back it looks like a slimmed-down Galaxy S26 rather than anything budget-compromised. The volume and power buttons stay on the right side. Qi2 magnetic wireless charging is included, matching what Samsung offers across the full S26 lineup.

Performance comes from the Exynos 2500 chipset confirmed by Geekbench through that SM-S741 model number. Benchmark scores landed at 2,426 single-core and 8,004 multi-core, which places it meaningfully ahead of the Galaxy S25 FE but clearly below the Exynos 2600 flagship chip powering the standard S26. The larger phone body apparently allows better thermal management than the Z Flip 7, which uses the identical silicon. The device runs on Android 17 with One UI 9 making the S26 FE potentially one of the first phones to ship with Android 17 out of the box at launch.

The 6.73-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at 120Hz with FHD+ resolution handles visuals. Camera setup includes a 50MP main with OIS, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP 3x optical telephoto, a practical triple system rather than a showpiece. Battery is 5,100mAh with 55W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless support.

The standout spec most people will miss: IP69 rating high-pressure water jet protection that even the base Galaxy S26 doesn’t offer. That’s an unexpected premium touch on an affordable model.

Expected US pricing sits around $650–$699, significantly below the Galaxy S26’s $899.99 starting point. Launch is expected late September or October 2026.
