Apple has officially locked June 8 as the start date for WWDC 2026, and if the rumor mill is anything to go by, this might be the most consequential developer conference the company has held in years. The event runs through June 12, kicks off at 10 a.m. Pacific with the traditional keynote, and will be free to watch online though a lucky few will snag spots at Apple Park for the in-person experience.
The tagline this year is “Coming bright up,” paired with glowing, circular teaser artwork that practically screams AI. And honestly, that tracks. Apple is walking into WWDC26 with something to prove. After months of criticism over delayed and underwhelming Apple Intelligence features, the company needs a big swing and Siri is expected to be front and center. Think more natural conversations, cross-app actions, smarter context awareness, and tighter privacy controls. Bloomberg has been consistently reporting a significantly revamped Siri experience, and expectations are high.
On the software side, the usual suspects are all expected iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27 along with updates to visionOS. Hardware is unlikely to dominate the stage, though Mac updates and AI-focused silicon news can never be fully ruled out given Apple’s recent chip momentum.
