Vivo has quietly introduced the new Vivo V70 FE, and on paper it looks like one of the more interesting mid-range phones we’ve seen lately. The device brings two headline features you don’t usually see together in this segment: a 200MP main camera and a massive 7,000mAh battery.
Both specs immediately stand out in a market where most phones still ship with 50MP cameras and 5,000mAh batteries.
A 200MP camera

The V70 FE’s biggest talking point is its 200-megapixel primary camera, which includes optical image stabilization. High-resolution sensors like this allow the phone to capture more detail and also enable loss-less cropping when zooming into photos.
The rest of the camera setup is fairly straightforward:
- 200MP main camera (OIS)
- 8MP ultra-wide camera
- 32MP selfie camera
Vivo is also leaning heavily on its software features. The phone includes AI portrait modes, film-style filters, and enhanced zoom processing, all aimed at improving social media and portrait photography.
Phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A56 and Redmi Note 14 Pro also focus heavily on camera performance in the mid-range space, but neither combines a 200MP sensor with such a large battery.
Battery

The second headline feature is the battery. The V70 FE packs a 7,000mAh cell, which is significantly larger than the industry average.
For comparison, many competing phones still ship with 5,000mAh batteries, including the Samsung Galaxy A56 and most devices in the Redmi Note lineup.
Vivo pairs the large battery with 90W fast charging, which should help offset the longer charging times that usually come with bigger batteries.
According to the company, the phone is capable of over 40 hours of video playback, although real-world usage will obviously vary.
Large OLED display with a fast refresh rate

On the front, the V70 FE gets a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.
That combination should provide sharper visuals than standard Full HD panels while keeping animations smooth. OLED panels also help with power efficiency and contrast, which pairs well with the phone’s focus on long battery life.
Dimensity chip handles performance
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo, a mid-range chipset built on a 4nm process.
The phone is available with up to:
- 12GB RAM
- 512GB storage
On the software side, the device runs Android 16 with Vivo’s custom interface on top.
Extra features and durability
Vivo has also added a few features that are becoming increasingly common in upper mid-range devices.
The V70 FE includes:
- IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance
- In-display fingerprint scanner
- 5G connectivity
- NFC support
These additions help it compete with other mid-range phones that are gradually adopting more premium features.
