Motorola’s latest mid-range contender, the Edge 70, has officially gone on sale in India, bringing its sleek design, capable cameras and long-lasting battery to consumers just in time for the holiday season.
The Motorola Edge 70 went live on retail channels including Flipkart, Motorola’s online store and offline outlets, offering strong value for money in its segment. The phone’s ultra-slim profile (around 5.99 mm) and lightweight build help it stand out, especially among users who want a modern design without the bulk of typical flagship-sized devices.
At the heart of the Edge 70 is a 6.7-inch 1.5K Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and high peak brightness, making everyday use and media viewing smooth and vibrant. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, delivering solid performance for productivity and entertainment.
Photography is a key highlight. Motorola equipped the phone with a triple 50 MP camera array, including an OIS-enabled main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide + macro unit and a 50 MP front camera all capable of 4K video capture at 60 fps. Software enhancements such as AI Video Enhancement, AI Action Shot and intelligent stabilization round out the imaging experience.
Battery life is robust thanks to a 5,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, with 68W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless charging and reverse charging support, giving users flexibility throughout the day. Additional perks include IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H durability, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and a dedicated AI key for quick access to Moto AI features.
Running Hello UI based on Android 16, the Edge 70 promises three major OS upgrades and four years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support.
