The phone will be available in multiple finishes, including Black, White, and a new Starry Green variant with a textured, mineral-inspired back.

Photography is the main highlight. Xiaomi has confirmed a Leica-tuned triple-camera system, led by a 1-inch OmniVision OV50X primary sensor with advanced LOFIC technology for improved dynamic range and low-light performance. It is paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera featuring Leica APO optics, offering high-quality long-range zoom with reduced color fringing. An ultra-wide camera completes the setup, making the 17 Ultra a strong contender for mobile photography enthusiasts.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, ensuring flagship-level performance and efficiency. The phone is backed by a large ~6,800mAh battery, with support for 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. Xiaomi has also confirmed flagship essentials such as IP-rated water and dust resistance, advanced connectivity features, and premium haptics.
