Vivo is all set to unveil its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y500 Pro, on November 10, 2025, in China. Leaks and certifications have already revealed key details, suggesting that Vivo is preparing one of its most powerful Y-series phones yet.
According to reports, the Vivo Y500 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and vivid visual experience. Under the hood, the phone is rumored to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM for strong multitasking performance.
Camera-wise, the Y500 Pro could debut with a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor, setting a new standard for Vivo’s Y-series lineup. While details on the secondary lenses are limited, the focus clearly seems to be on delivering flagship-level photography in a mid-range package.
The handset is expected to pack a massive 7000mAh battery with fast-charging support, ensuring excellent endurance even for heavy users. Additionally, rumors suggest the phone will come with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, which is rarely seen in its price segment.
On the software side, the Vivo Y500 Pro will likely ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 right out of the box.
Pricing is yet to be officially confirmed, but early leaks indicate a launch price of around $340 once it hits the global market.
If the leaks are accurate, the Vivo Y500 Pro could become one of the most feature-rich mid-range smartphones of 2025, combining power, endurance, and imaging prowess in a sleek package.
