Vivo is preparing to unveil its next-generation flagship lineup, the Vivo X300 series, in China on October 13, 2025, with a global rollout expected soon after. The lineup includes two models the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro both aiming to set new standards in smartphone photography and performance.
Camera: Pushing Mobile Imaging Further
The highlight of the series is undoubtedly the Vivo X300 Pro, which will reportedly feature a powerful 200MP Samsung HPB sensor for its periscope telephoto camera. This setup is expected to deliver enhanced optical zoom, improved detail at long range, and better low-light imaging.
The Pro model will also include a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide camera, and the new Vivo V3+ imaging chip developed in partnership with Zeiss to elevate color accuracy and overall image processing. Rumors also suggest support for optional teleconverter lenses, hinting at serious ambitions for mobile photography.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, both the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro are said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, ensuring flagship-level performance and power efficiency. The Pro variant could offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, delivering smooth multitasking and faster app loading times.
The Vivo X300 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the standard X300 might get a slightly smaller 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with the same refresh rate. Both devices are rumored to include ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors and IP68/IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.
Battery and Charging
Battery life also looks promising. The X300 Pro is tipped to pack a 6500mAh cell, while the standard X300 could include a 6000mAh unit. Both models are expected to support 120W fast charging and wireless charging, ensuring minimal downtime for heavy users.
Software and Design
The new flagships will debut with Android 16 and Vivo’s updated OriginOS 6 interface. Design-wise, the devices may feature a sleek “sculpted glass” back with curved edges, providing a premium look and feel.
Early Impressions
With its focus on high-end imaging, powerful hardware, and massive batteries, the Vivo X300 series is shaping up to be one of the most competitive launches of 2025. If the leaks prove accurate, the X300 Pro could rival heavyweights like the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 Ultra, further cementing Vivo’s reputation in the ultra-premium segment.
